AmeriFilms is photographing Startup Week attendees at the Entrepreneurs’ Center on Tuesday, September 15, from noon to 4 pm. The Entrepreneurs’ Center is covering the cost, so you pay nothing. Pick a slot, show up, walk out with a headshot you’ll actually use.

02 How to show up
Five minutes of prep makes a better photo.
- Wear a solid color. Navy, charcoal, deep green, burgundy, and white all photograph well. Skip busy patterns, big logos, and thin stripes.
- Dress the way your clients see you. A blazer if you wear one to meetings, a clean tee if you don’t. The photo should look like you on a good day, not a costume.
- Arrive five minutes early. Slots are tight and the person after you is counting on it.
- Bring a second top if you want options. A quick change gives you two looks in the same ten minutes.
- Glasses are fine. Bring a cloth to wipe them. We’ll handle the glare.
03 Book your slot
Pick a time. You’ll get a confirmation by email.
One slot per person. If your plans change, use the link in your confirmation email to cancel so someone else can take it.
04 Wednesday
New headshot Tuesday. New LinkedIn profile Wednesday.
The headshot is step one. On Wednesday, September 16 at 11:00 am, Souley Oumarou is teaching a Startup Week workshop called From Profile to Profit: How Entrepreneurs Use LinkedIn to Attract Clients and Grow Their Business. Profile setup, building authority, content that brings in leads, and a system for turning connections into clients.
Come with the photo, leave with the profile to put it on. The session is listed in the Startup Week schedule on Whova.
